The Acanthus Panel draws its inspiration from the enduring beauty of Greco-Roman design, where the acanthus leaf - symbol of enduring life and classical architecture -adorned columns, friezes, and interiors of noble houses.

Featuring a rectangular softly convex centerpiece embraced by curling acanthus scrolls and delicate botanical motifs, it is reminiscent of historic panel frames found in Georgian and neoclassical estates.

The ACANTHUS PANEL measures 59cm x 49cm, with the plain softly domed centre measuring 37cm x 27cm. The panel thickness varies up to 5.5cm. Weighs almost 4kg. 

Made of resin-plaster composite with plywood backing which has been built in and is not removable. Comes with hangers already installed for a portrait format display. However, I may be able to supply the hangers/wire separately on special request, or install for a landscape format display.

I specially got these high-relief ornate-style panel frames in an undecorated state so that you can continue the process with your artistry without having to remove old finishes, etc. The manufacturing process is finished by hand, so there will be slight variations from item to item - aesthetically appealing to people like us! The resin-plaster material is also a wonderful paintable surface.
