The APS Metallic Foils provide an easy way to add that extra sparkle, shine or glow to your decorative painting projects. Metallic Foils are made from a thin layer of non-reactive metallic sheets that are fused to clear cellophane.
These beautiful foils can be transferred to any surface of your choice with the help of our ArtsSyVille Embellishments Foil Adhesive. These foils allow you to control the amount of foil that is transferred, whether you want it all to or just a little.
Most foils are good to use with spray foil adhesive on fabrics, and yes they are washable!
Foils are cut to order from rolls 12" (30.5cm) wide and can be ordered in increments of 100cm (1m) lengths.

What are metallic foils?
Metallic Foils are made from a thin layer of non-reactive metallic sheets that are fused to a clear cellophane sheet. These beautiful foils can be transferred to the surface of your choice with the help of our foil adhesives, as well using a heat setting with an iron (for fabrics). These foils allow you to control the amount of foil that is transferred, whether you want a full transfer or partial transfer. Check out the first video below for instructions on how to foil!
Where can I use foils?
On just about anything!! Jenn, the creator of APS, has used foils on projects from terracotta pots, tumblers, furniture, walls, roller skates, and much more! You can even use many of our foils on clothes and fabrics, just make sure you look for the "Textile Friendly" confirmation in the description of each foil. If you have any questions, just ask!
What foil colours & designs do you have?
Rustic Farmhouse Charm carries more than one hundred different options! Our foils come in a wide variety of designs, colours, metallics, and holographs.
Will the foils transfer 100%?
Unfortunately no, about 90-95% of the foil will transfer. This is why we always recommend painting our base layer a colour that will complement the foil we are using as this colour will peak through. We also highly recommend using our Foil Adhesive, as this adhesive was created for foils.
