This is a universal single component suitable for all cracking systems, including varnishes, pastes and gels. Apply an even layer and leave to dry in the air. After it dries completely transparent, apply component two.

I've tried this successfully as a "sandwich" crackle primer between two layers of Hewbury Paint, as well as with Pentart's Metallic Cracking Paste over.
